ConsentBloom is not a form builder

The job is send, chase, and find the signed copy — not another blank canvas for forms.

A form builder is a blank canvas. ConsentBloom is not that product.

Solo US lash, brow, and wax artists already know how to make a form. Many of them already have one in Google Forms, Jotform, or whatever came with the booking app. The leftover work is not designing another template. It is getting the client to sign it, following up when they do not, and finding the signed copy later when it actually matters.

The category trap

If you frame the product as "forms for beauty pros," you inherit the form-builder category. You compete on fields, themes, and how many templates you ship. That is a race someone else already won, and it is the wrong race for the job we care about.

A blank form does not chase. A pretty template does not remind. A PDF sitting in email does not answer "do I have this client's signed consent?" when you need it mid-day.

What the job actually is

The job is send → chase → find.

  • Send: get the right consent in front of the client before the appointment.
  • Chase: follow up when the signature is still missing.
  • Find: pull the signed copy later without digging through threads and screenshots.

That sequence is the product. The form is an ingredient, not the meal.

Fixed templates on purpose

ConsentBloom starts with fixed consent templates for the work these artists already do, not a drag-and-drop builder. That is deliberate. A blank canvas invites endless customization and delays the part that hurts: getting signatures in and keeping them findable.

We are not trying to replace every form the artist might ever need. We are trying to make consent a reliable habit beside the booking tools they already use.

Beside booking, not instead of it

This sits next to the earlier decision to stay out of booking. Square and Booksy already own the calendar. Form builders already own blank forms. The gap in the middle is the chase and the later find — and that is where we stay.

Appointments can go in by hand for now. Integrations are not a prerequisite for version one. Honesty about scope beats pretending we are a platform.

The short answer

If someone asks what ConsentBloom is, the short answer is not "another form tool." It is the send-chase-find loop for consent, kept small on purpose.

The blog will have more of this. There's RSS if you want it in a reader.
